Blogs: Boost Search Rankings

Businesses spend a lot of money trying to capture the highest possible ranking in the search engines. It makes sense that the higher you are ranked, the more people will see you in the search results and click through to your site. One easy way to help elevate your search rankings is through the use of blogs. These are easy to set up and can have a dramatic impact on helping to raise your rankings with the search engines.
Once you have your blog setup, be sure to update the content regularly with fresh articles and discussions. This will help your site in several ways and help your search ranking improve almost immediately.
The reason for this is that at a very basic level, search engines actually rank blogs a little higher than standard websites. They also love blogs that have constant updates to their content and this alone will raise your rankings.
In addition, by publishing a flood of new content on a regular basis, you will actually have the search engines crawl your site more often as it becomes accustomed to seeing these updates. In essence you are training the search engine to crawl your blog and update your rankings based on this new content. The added bonus to this is the fact that simply triggering this extra crawling is in itself a ranking criteria and this actually raises your ranking even more.

Social Network Marketing - Facebook Fan Page

Don't overlook the Facebook Fan Pages. They are a great source of cost effective targeted lead generation and continued networking.

Pros: Facebook fan pages are easily syndicated with your twitter account, website and blog. This means that when set up properly, it will automatically update and post information to your fan page wall when changes are made to either or both your blog and twitter account. This creates an opportunity to spread constant reminders to all of your fans. Best of all it is free, fully automated and hassle free.

Cons: Fan pages are a bit hidden in the Facebook. Due to privacy, emails do not go directly to fans inbox and the fan page location on personal profiles get lost at the bottom of the main profile. Facebook fan pages are more effective when you seek out your fans instead of relying on them to find you.

Thanks You Facebook!
